  • 2 12 oz Glass Jars I reuse my Almond Butter Glass Jars
  • 2 Labels Optional
  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Spatula or Spoon
  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • 1 Sheet Aluminum Foil

Instructions

  1. I am so excited to share this healthy recipe with you.  My little one loves making and eating this yummy granola with me!  We like to add it to our yogurt with fruit and honey or eat it in a bowl with milk.  Your homemade granola will last about 2 weeks at room temperature in an air tight container.

  2. As I have said before, make this recipe your own! Change up the nuts or the spices if you wish. Use maple syrup instead of honey. Or olive oil instead of butter. This is the beauty of cooking, you want to enjoy the end result! Okay, here we go.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  3. We start with 3 cups of Oats in a bowl. Then we add the nuts, spices, seeds and salt. We stir it around to incorporate the ingredients evenly. We then add our wet ingredients such as the honey, coconut oil, butter, egg white and vanilla.

Mix it well to make sure everything is coated nicely. Scoop out the mixture into the lined baking sheet and spread evenly. Pop it in the oven for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.

*Make sure you stir it every 10 min

  4. When you take it out, let it rest and cool for about 15 minutes. Store it in a glass jar.  I reuse my glass jars with lids, so I use those to store my granola.  You can label it with the details of what's inside and the date.

Once its cooled, enjoy your healthy and tasty treat!

I would love to know how you made this recipe your own and how you enjoyed it! Tag @gleamliving or #gleamliving on instagram so I can see!

  1. This looks so yummy! Thanks for the recipe! I always struggle to find non-chemically processed foods in the supermarket so I’ll just go ahead and make my own
